It is related that Ibn Mas’ud, may Allah be pleased
with him, said, “The Messenger of Allah (saw) said,
“All creatures are dependants of Allah and
the most beloved of creatures to Allah is the one who is best to his dependants.”
All
creations are dependants of Allah. He provides livelihood, sustenance and
protection to them. But the ones He loves most is the one kindest, generous and
beneficial to His dependants. All creations are in need of Allah. He tends to
them in every way. However, if someone depends on another for his needs and
requirements then Allah hopes that his creation would help each other the same
way as He does for them. The praise for such creations that help each other in
time of need is very high and enormous. What more can a person ask for when he
knows he has the love of Allah the great. Therefore, we being Muslims should
help our needy brothers and seek for Allah’s love and reward.
