Participating in Christmas

It is not permissible for Muslims to participate in the festival of Christmas. Muslims are not allowed to celebrate or participate in festivals or holidays of Jews and Christmas. It is obligatory to abandon them because:
“He who imitates a people is from them.”
Our Holy Prophet warned us against imitating and adorning ourselves with the ways and mannerism of non-believers. We are neither allowed to participate nor aid in any kind of celebration that has nothing to do with our religion Islam. All acts which are not in Islam are sins and Allah says about them:
Help you one another in Al-Birr and At-Taqwaa (virtue, righteousness and piety); but do not help one another in sin and transgression.(Al-Ma’idah 5:2)

So participating with the disbelievers in their holidays is a type of helping them upon sin and transgression. Hence, it is obligatory upon every Muslim male and female to abandon that and it is not befitting for the one who has intellect to be deceived by the people in their actions.
